The 2010 Mazda 3 here has great handling, is sporty for it's class, and is very fun to drive, but if you're looking for a car that rides smoothly, this car doesn't, it does have rather stuff suspension.

Overall this car is a great car, in both Mazda 3s I've had now, they've had no major mechanical failures and the work has been routine work, owned the 2005 one for just over three years before it got totaled on an accident back in 2021, the car probably still had another 10 years in it, The 2010 one I have now is the 2nd gen Mazda 3 of course, and its a significant upgrade (excluding it being the sedan instead of the hatchback which does negatively impact storage space)
This so now the 2nd, Mazda 3 I've owned, The first being a 2005 hatchback, this one now the 2010 sedan If not, set aside $7k for an engine swap. The 2008+ Ford 5.4L 3Valve in general is a decent engine ONLY IF THE OIL has been changed!!! Not IF AND ONLY IF the oil was maintained with proper and FREQUENT oil changes! It appears the 2010-12 are overall very reliable and since they have a steep depreciation, not bad to pick one up.
I plan on driving this one for another couple yrs and up to at least 200k. Research, compare, and save listings, or contact sellers directly from 10,000+ vehicles in Elk Grove, CA. I just added a nice touchcreen with back up camera since the green LED radio got real dim. Shop used vehicles in Elk Grove, CA for sale at. Hood also has some under the front and think the bug shield has prevented it from peeling in the top of the hood. Liftgate the usual paint peeling and I don't care. No problem as I do it myself but some may not like this. Trans fluid changed at 60k, 110k and now ready.įront brakes have been replaced many times as it's just the way these brake. Oil at 5k using Ford blend 5-20 for 100k and now 5-30. SF bay area cars & trucks - by owner 'vacaville' - craigslist. Preventative maintenance and I do all myself.
